Marketing ManagerScope of Accountability:

Direct the development and execution of all company marketing programs and initiatives to include Market Research, Product Marketing, Channel Marketing, and Public Relations. Drive the development of the company’s product line based on product performance, market research and trends analysis. Monitor business results of all marketing efforts and provide corrective direction as needed.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Direct all marketing communications including the implementation of collateral materials, print media, news releases, Internet campaigns, publications, and other direct marketing activities.
  • Create and implement marketing strategies targeting sales into new markets, improving company exposure, brand awareness and increasing customer acquisition.
  • Solicit market research and perform analysis to generate market requirements including market objectives, share, trends, pricing, revenue and customers' needs and perspectives.
  • Translate customer/clients needs into features for products and services. Define the overall product line and individual products. Oversee the writing of product requirements, and establish product road map for implementation.
  • Work as part of a global marketing Team in a highly collaborative, multi-cultural environment.
  • Maintain a highly collaborative relationship with ESET, UK’s partners to gain insight into software product releases, including details regarding upgrade features, delivery timelines, product lifecycles and any other information beneficial to ESET, UK.
  • Direct the gathering and analysis of information on competing products in the marketplace. Create a process for systematically and consistently gathering competitive intelligence.
  • Assist in the process of building and launching products, programs and services to meet market segment needs.
  • Ensure product training is provided to Sales, Service and other functions.
  • Direct the creation of external messaging and product positioning (product collateral including product sheets, presentations, product demos, sales support tools, etc).
  • Track ongoing vitality of product based on financial measurements and market acceptance. Authorise improvements/modifications and changes.
  • Establish the necessary tools, systems and procedures to optimize effective planning, strategy development, implementation and tracking of projects.
  • Develop and operate the Marketing Department with an operating budget and ensure success of goals and objectives while operating within allocated funds.
  • Participate and contribute to the strategic planning process with the management team in order to achieve the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Recruit, hire and train department personnel (as required), set performance expectations and manage performance.
  • Establish the necessary tools, systems and procedures to optimize staff efforts and provide training and skill development to enhance operations.



Preferred Qualifications:
Education
BSC, Marketing or MBA , Marketing Focus

Preferred Experience:
Minimum 8 years marketing experience in an executive level leadership role within a professional products oriented environment. Should have experience within the security software and/or solution market, software, high-tech, or other pertinent companies. Excellent analytical, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills required. Demonstrated ability and aptitude for management accountabilities.

Skills / Requirements / Abilities:
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with initiative and drive to create and implement new strategies with minimal guidance. Must have a hands-on approach and possess a positive attitude toward getting the job done. Ability to establish rapport with all levels of company personnel and external contacts. Interested in and able to excel in an entrepreneurial environment and share the same vision as the founders of the company.

Demonstrated ability to create and manage a successful team of marketing professionals Must have the ability to operationally implement strategy and tactics, and successfully manage the day-to-day marketing tactical actions within a fast-paced, high growth environment.
