Having IT engineers with up to 15 years experience, it took some convincing to change from our previously preferred anti-virus solution. After a lot of research, and having rigorously tested the product on both our corporate and SME clients, NOD32 proved it’s superiority by detecting viruses that had previously not been identified.

We now introduce NOD32 to all our clients. The ease of installation and the suitability for every environment makes it a product we confidently recommend.

I have now purchased the commercial product of NOD32 and can honestly say that the programme is one of the best anti-virus products that I have used and I have used several!!!!

If anyone is thinking of purchasing your product, I can thoroughly recommend it as it uses very little in the way of resources, does not slow your system down and never lets you down in blocking viruses.

I would like to say that I am thoroughly impressed by NOD32 and it is clearly far superior to N*****’s Antivirus which I was using up until recently. N***** failed to catch or even find (using a full-system scan) that I had many viruses on my system. Not only that, I was using my PC a few days ago (graphics applications that require a lot of RAM & processor power) and I was notified by NOD that it had completed both a download update and full system scan without effecting the running speed of my computer AT ALL!. I had no idea that this was taking place. With N***** if a system scan was running I had to leave the PC to its own devices for the next two or so hours as there was no hope of using anything with any speed.

NOD32 was recommended to me by my Father & I shall be recommending it to all I know. Money well spent. Thanks to NOD for making my time on my PC a lot easier and thanks for your quick responses and great customer service.

I thought I would share an occurrence with you that proves that extensive research into the AV tools on offer a year ago was time well spent.

I purchased NOD32 a year ago after having spent many weeks analysing the tools on offer after having become disillusioned with N***** after many years as a customer of theirs.

2 weeks ago, whilst working from home, I received an e-mail into my work mailbox from an unrecognised sender with a subject line that bore no relation to anything that I was currently working on. The works AV, T****, did not pick this up as malware but my instinct told me it was something to be wary of. I forwarded the message to my home account and immediately upon receipt NOD32 blocked it as Win32/TrojanDownloader.Small.ZL. This meant that NOD32 had identified this as a threat before both our corporate AV and the AV product used by my mailbox supplier. Indeed, it was a further 80 minutes before the message in my work mailbox was quarantined by T****.

I think the interesting thing about this experience is that I had not a moments doubt or concern about sending a potentially hazardous mail to my home account due to my total faith in NOD32.

I am the IS Security Analyst for a very large UK firm and therefore have a good working knowledge of the anti-malware tools available and this one experience more than repaid the purchase price of NOD32 and proved beyond doubt that I made exactly the right decision.

I shall now look at the new release 2.5 of NOD32 with interest and ask myself the question - "'How can the best get any better than it is already?"
